This is for all the Wii fanboys out there! As you would Nintendo put the stamp that Wii DVD playback is only for Japan, as of now. But a mod chip companiy namely Team Symbiote has create some apps for the owner of their Wii mod chip that lets you play DVDs without a hitch. But you did still would ask Nintendo whys is such kinda discrimination going on. We pay the same price or more like the dudes in Japan would, seriously we have been taken for a ride. Lawsuits! Anyone.

Nintendo does it again by announcing WiiWare for game developers for Wii console. WiiWare is a developer tool just like Microsoft’s XNA Game Studio for Xbox, but for Wii console. This allows game developers both small & large an opportunity to create a game that is downloadable content & sale by Nintendo through Wii Shop Channel. The WiiWare will be launched early 2008.
